I can’t feed myself :’(

I always buy food that will last me three days. That’s it! I have no idea what I would want to eat after that so I can’t quite plan what to buy in advance. Anyway I prefer fresh food! But look where that’s got me, eating one meal of 2 week old frozen bread with seaweed-eggs and instant seaweed soup per day, for the past two days. I repeat, I meal per day! Today I’m just having muesli bar and seaweed soup.

My fridge is normally pretty empty but that’s ok because I can just walk to Coles to restock. But this week it has been raining so heavily that I can’t restock, plus I have a flu already! And today is ANZAC day (memorial for WWII soldiers I think) so everywhere is closed…

And so… I’m at my all-time lowest weight on my suspicious weighing scale… but then again we have to add 2kg here to compare to our weight in Malaysia, so it’s not that bad, right? RIGHT?!

I always have a whole bunch of instant noodles ready. Although still no good for health. But at least I’ll have something to eat. And I try not to eat it all the time also. Then I’ll usually have the brocolli and cauliflower and carrot shreds in my fridge. Once that’s out I go buy more. But the brocolli last a pretty long time. I like buy 2-3 packets and then leave in the fridge. When take out to fry it’ll be fresh again one. Lol.

hmm…who doesn’t like fresh food? LOL i do too but here I can afford to go grocery shopping so frequent because it takes up quite a lot of time when I have to compare prices etc. =S Usually I’ll have carrots, mushrooms, eggs, bread, broccoli & some frozen vege in my fridge. & of course a few packets of instant noodles, so I can add some *insert any vege mentioned above* to the instant noodles when i’m desperate. i can never starve myself here….weather too cold. i always feel hungry. =S

well, all the best in feeding urself! =D *hugs*

I like to buy cabbage. It can last longer even without keeping in the fridge, and you can do many things with it- add to instant noodles, stir-fry, make soup, add to broth, almost anything, really. Carrots are good too, although once i left some in the fridge and forgot about it long enough till it sprouted! =0
When i go grocery shopping i’ll buy some leafy greens(rich in vitamins & minerals) and cook it that day itself or the next day- not later as they turn bad. Then eat the longer-lasting vegs till my next trip to the store.
